Yarn and Hook Used
To create this round crochet basket with a handle, we held two strands of acrylic #4 medium-weight yarn (11 WPI) together.
For the basket body, we used a 5.75 mm crochet hook, slightly larger than the recommended 5 mm hook for a single strand of this yarn.
This choice resulted in tighter stitches, giving the basket sturdy and upright sides.
For the handle, we switched to the 5 mm hook while still using two strands, producing an even firmer texture allowing the handle to hold its shape without the addition of wire.

FAQ
If your crochet basket is floppy, it might be due to loose tension. To achieve a sturdier basket, make sure you are using the correct yarn weight and maintain a consistent, tighter tension.
Also, try using a smaller hook size can help create a denser fabric, giving more structure to your basket.
