Row 1 – 2sc in 2nd ch from hk, then make 2sc in each st to end, pull the loop up slightly and remove the hook, do not cut the yarn.
Then wrap the crochet spiral around one of the chenille sticks leaving about 2 ¼ inches (6cm) of the stick exposed on each end.

Next, take the remaining chenille stick and twist the ends onto the first to create a circle.

Then insert the hook back into the loop and work single crochet stitches along the exposed chenille stick until it is fully covered, cut the yarn, leaving a yarn tail that is about a 14 inch (35cm) long, fasten off.

Expert Tip
Chenille sticks: Pick a color that matches (or one that complements) your yarn because the fibers on the stick can peek through on the bunny ears if your crochet stitches aren’t close together
Bunny ears: When crocheting the ears, try to crochet the stitches as close as possible for better coverage, to hide the chenille stem.
We used medium-weight yarn because it works up quickly and creates a nice, thick ring for the bunny’s body. If you use lighter-weight yarn, the body might look too thin for the ring size. In that case, try making the ring and ears smaller (by cutting down the chenille stems) to get the look you want.

Variations/Color Schemes/Ideas
- White Bunny: Use white yarn for a soft, classic bunny.
- Pastel Colors: Try pink, blue, or purple for a cute Easter look.
- Natural Bunny: Use brown yarn for a more realistic bunny.
- Extra Touches: Add tiny crochet flowers, paper flowers, silk flowers, ribbon or any other decorations you choose.
- Glitter Bunny: Use sparkly yarn for a fun and shiny look.
- Bunny Family: Make a few in different sizes for a cute Easter set!
FAQ
