The Inspiration Behind This Crochet Table Mat
When I designed my crochet mushroom pattern for the Woodland Fall Crochet Collection, I knew it would make a beautiful centerpiece.
As I started styling it on my table, I felt it needed something to bring the display together, which inspired this ruffle crochet table mat pattern.
To tie the designs together, I used the same decorative edging featured on the mushroom cap, creating a coordinated look across the collection.
Worked in just 7 rounds using two strands of yarn held together, this beginner-friendly crochet table mat is quick to make and full of texture.
Simple single crochet and double crochet stitches create a sturdy round mat, while the ruffled edge adds a decorative touch.
Although designed with fall décor in mind, this versatile crochet centerpiece mat can be used year-round on a dining table, coffee table, or anywhere you'd like to add a little handmade charm.
Pair it with other coordinating pieces from the Woodland Fall Crochet Collection for a cozy seasonal display.
